Who we are
An orchestra at the heart of Tanzania’s cultural heartbeat
Based in Dar es Salaam, the Tanzania Philharmonic Symphonia is dedicated to performing a wide range of music genres, classical, traditional, religious, contemporary, popular, and folk, from around the world. Each programme is presented in a classical setting.
With choral and instrumental sections, and solo performances by singers and instrumentalists, we enrich Tanzania’s cultural landscape and support the development of local musical talent while creating social and economic opportunities.
